Firstly I apologies for my absence of late I have been recovering from the manic mayhem which was puppies, all of which have now left home and are happily settled in – I have also been rather preoccupied chasing squirrels in Green Park.
Secondly, I have been making my way around town to different events such as the Zambuni Collective at Vacheron Constanin and more recently to the Orvis Regent Street store to celebrate 30 years on the British High street. The Zambuni team were dressed in checked flannel shirts, denim and bandannas to go with the Vermont theme of the evening. I also wore a very fetching bandanna….
In true Vermont style everyone – including me at some points!- enjoyed whisky tasting by Chapman & Gorn, who as always were fantastic.
I had a good look at Orvis’s new toy range and a lot of fusses from guests. After the Folly Brother’s first set Adrian Woolford, Managing Director of Orvis, gave a short speech on the history of Orvis being in the UK as the cake was cut, unfortunately I didn’t get any as it was chocolate.
After a few hours of blue grass, champagne, wine and whisky guests began to leave and I retired home to my Orvis dog bed after what was a fantastic evening.
I can’t wait for the next Orvis party, they certainly know how to throw them!
